We came across this monument by the Montgomery County Patriotic Order Sons of America to R.T.S. Hallowell 1849-1908 in the Cemetery at Old Swedes Church. Richard T.S. Hallowell was a Past State President serving from 1887 to 1888. He was elected at the 22nd annual session on 8/9/1887 at Mauch Chunk (Jim Thorpe). He was a member of W.C. # 121 Conshohocken. He served as a trustee of Valley Forge and a delegate to several National Camp conventions.
